How to be Cautious with Caffeine

Have you noticed that as the countdown to the end of the semester gets shorter, the line at Starbucks gets longer? With late-night study sessions, early morning class, and lots of campus activities, many students find themselves using caffeine to stay awake and alert. However, while a cup of coffee may help you concentrate in your 8 a.m. class, too much caffeine can cause negative side effects. Read more

Second Annual International Smorgasbord Serves Cuisine and Culture

The Churchill Institute for Global Engagement hosted the Second Annual International Smorgasbord last Thursday afternoon. Five campus organizations invited by the Institute – the Black Student Union, Chinese Club, French Club, Korean Club, and Spanish Club – set up tables in Mueller Leadership Hall and served food representative of their group.  The event’s organizers originally planned to host the Smorgasbord on the Churchill Institute front lawn but moved it indoors due to rain.

The Westminster men’s and women’s track team competed in the Meet of Champions at Augustana College this past weekend. The men’s team placed 13th in the competition, while the women finished 12th.
